  • Identity Information: Full name, National Registration Card (NRC) number where required.

  • Parcel Information: Parcel descriptions, declared values, origin and destination details.
  • Payment Information: Mobile money transaction references, payment method, and amounts. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and interaction logs for security and analytics purposes.
  • Device Information: Device type and operating system when accessing our platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Process and track parcel deliveries.
  • Send SMS and in-app notifications about your parcel status.
  • Process payments and generate receipts.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Station Agents and Courier Operators: To facilitate the pickup, transit, and delivery of your parcels.
  • Payment Processors: Including mobile money operators (e.g., MTN, Airtel) for payment verification.
  • SMS Providers: Including Africa's Talking, to send delivery notifications.
  • Legal Authorities: Where required by Zambian law or valid legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Parcel records are retained for a minimum of 24 months for audit and dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at privacy@zedcourier.com.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure JWT-based authentication, and role-based access controls. However, no system is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.
